Imam of Abu Bekir mosque Gamet Suleymanov: "I was injured by numerous shrapnel pieces in the aftermath of the mosque explosion"

"I was injured during the explosion in Abu Bekir mosque. I caught pieces of shrapnel in my leg and shoulder. I am being treated at home," commenting on the explosion in Abu Bekir mosque on August 17, imam of the mosque Haji Gamet Suleymanov told APA.

Suleymanov said everybody should condemn the happenings in the mosque and added that the investigation was underway to find the offender.

He did not want to speak thoroughly about the event for a time and expressed his hope that everything would be investigated in details.

Two were killed and some were injured in the aftermath of the explosion.
