Over 6,300 foreign students studying in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan`s ministry of education said in 2007-2008 academic years, more than 6,300 foreign students, including from Turkey, Russia, Germany, USA, Iran, India, Egypt, Canada, and Jordan are studying in the country`s higher education institutions.

According to the ministry, 1,228 students are studying at the Baku State University, 522 at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, 706 at the Azerbaijan Medical University, 449 at the Gafgaz University, 732 at the Azerbaijan State Economic University.
