Nazim Ibragimov: "Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations must participate in the social and political life of the countries of residence"

He said, the Diaspora, which has already settled its financial problems, is now striving for participation in the political sphere.

"Azerbaijani Diaspora passes to a new period of development. There is a necessity for their participation in the social and political life of the countries of residence", he said.

"Today, Azerbaijanis take an active part in the social and political life of different countries, especially the United States and Russia. They are represented in the parliament and state structures. It plays a great role in informing the world community about the Garabagh conflict, other tragedies of the Azerbaijani people and national holidays", he said.

Ibragimov announced that the purposeful police, carried out by Azerbaijan abroad, will increase the importance of Azerbaijani Diaspora in the world.
