Union City of California to mark May 28

The City Council passed this decision on the initiative of North Azerbaijani Cultural Center in California last day. The City Mayor Mark Green said at the meeting with Diaspora members that Azerbaijanis living in Union City are actively participating at all the events, including the events dedicated to education and ecology. The Mayor reminded Azerbaijan’s support for the US in counterterrorism efforts.

North Azerbaijani Cultural Center in California was officially registered in 2004. This Center is uniting Azerbaijanis living in about 40 cities, including San Francisco, San Jose, Union City, Sacramento, Berkeley, Mountain View and sone others. APA
