Baku hosts int'l scientific practical conference

The conference jointly organized by Scientific Research Traumatology and Orthopedic Institute and Azerbaijan Association of Traumatology and Orthopedic surgeries will last two day, APA reports.

Deputy health minister Sanan Karimov told the conference as Azerbaijan experienced war there are many cases of traumatism. Speaking on the necessity of introduction new medical treatment methods in Azerbaijan Sanan Karimov stressed the role of Institute on helping Second World War veterans to restore their healthy.

Vagif Verdiyev, director of Scientific Research Traumatology and Orthopedic Institute said the institute was established in 1946 where physiology laboratory is functioning since 1952.

The rector of Azerbaijan Medical University Ahliman Amiraslanov emphasized the contribution made by Aziz Aliyev to the development of both Azerbaijan Medical University and Scientific research Traumatology and Orthopedic Institute.
