Azeri women volleyball team declines to join Spring Cup

Volleyball Federation press secretary Zohrab Gozelbeyli told APA-Sport that Azerbaijan's main team will participate in the men's competition to be held May 12-19 in Brno, Czech Republic. Head coach Ogtay Musayev's team will train in a country before the competition. Azerbaijani junior team will join the competition for women to be held same time in Isola, Slovenia. The national team trained by Faig Garayev will not attend the tournament as its players have been rented to European clubs. Unlike the men, women volleyball team has won Spring cup once. The team was silver and bronze medal winner for several times.
