Students stop hunger strike

The member of the Students' Rights Protection Committee Vugar Suleymanov said that as the students, hunger striking for 39 days had serious health problems, they stopped the hunger strike.

He said that the students swill discuss other ways of struggle after January 8.

The students reprobated ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova for not keeping her promise.

The court hearing expected to be held in Binagadi district Court on claims of 125 students of Independent Azerbaijan University was delayed.

In connection with the reply to the survey sent to State Student Admission Commission the hearing was appointed on January 12, 2007, APA reports.
