New head of WHO representative office in Azerbaijan to be announced soon

This duty is executed by the WHO representative, Moldova-born Pavel Ursu for interim period. According to the organization's rules, the office is to be headed by an Azerbaijani.

Two seniors of WHO headquarters in Copenhagen held a competition for candidates to this vacancy in mid May. Five selected candidates sit written exam first and were interviewed then.

The competition results have already been submitted to the headquarters and it wil announce final results.

Ferman Abdulayev has resigned from the post of head of the WHO representative office in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
