Georgia and Azerbaijan police held joint operations

Georgia and Azerbaijan Interior ministries representatives and border regions police offices leaders met on May 17.

Western bureau of APA informs that Azerbaijan Interior ministry International Affairs Office chief Mehrab Tuganov and Georgian Interior Ministry Control department on Kvemocartli region, Otar Gurgenidze also took part.

The objective of the meeting is to strengthen control to criminological situation in the region. In the second half of 2006, these kinds of meetings will be held in Zagatala-Balaken region.
