State Commission announces student admission to Moscow State Institute of International Relations

State Commission on Student Admission (SCSA) announced student admission to Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University).

According to APA, SCSA chair Maleyka Abbaszade gave the information at a press conference today.

She stated that the SCSA will conduct the student admission to MGIMO-University. Saying requirements are very strict for admission to this university Ms. Abbaszade stated that applications could be submitted from April 25 to May 5.

University undergraduates or alumni are ineligible to submit application. The entrance procedure will be carried out at two stages. At the first stage applicants will take part in multiple choice question examination over 2nd and 3rd field groups May 12.

The applicants have to take the exam in Russian. Azerbaijani-language-school alumni will take multiple choice question examination for checking Russian language skill instead of Russian language and literature. Applicants gaining 500 score will be eligible for the second stage. Three of those gaining the highest score will have the opportunity to study on unpaid base, and the others will be able to study by paying tuition fee.

MGIMO-University will conduct the second stage in Moscow from June 27 to July 4. Applicants will have to take examination in Russian and English irrespective of their study fields. Applicants wanting to study at International Economic relations faculty will have to mathematics examination as well.
