18 Iranian detainees handed over

As APA reports, Department Head of the Main Execution Office, Justice Ministry Rafig Ramazanov informed APA that 18 Iranian detainees were taken to Astara from Baku by train. They were handed over to Iran through the borderline.

At the same time, an Azerbaijani jailed in Iran was handed over to Azerbaijan.

Mr.Ramazanov also said that mostly Iranian detainees were involved in illicit drug traffic in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani detainee handed over from Iran will be taken to Bayil prison #1 and then to detention place.
