Bronze bust of Azeri scientist will be opened soon in St. Petersberg

Chain of ceremonies will be held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of an Oriental faculty of St. Petersburg State University on December 16. One of the ceremonies planned will commemorate an Azeri scientist who worked at the university.

A bronze bust of the first dean of the faculty, respected scientist of oriental studies Mirza Kazimbay will be opened in the frame of the ceremonies. General Consul of Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg Gudsi Osmanov informed APA news agency that, the administration of the University invited the first lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO good-will ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva to visit the ceremony.
