20 September 2005 [11:29] - TODAY.AZ
The publishing house ”Lotos” refused to publish the newspaper “Chernovik” published in Mahachkala.
The administration of the publishing house has not announced the reason of this for the time being. Dagestan bureau of APA was informed from the Ministry of Foreign Relations, Information and National Relations that, the stopping of the publication is due to the problem between the publishing house and the newspaper: “The problem should be solved by court”.

The staff of the newspaper considers that the stopping is due to the publication of articles criticizing the authorities of Dagestan.

“Chernovik” informed Dagestan bureau of APA that, the staff of the newspaper will hold a protest action in the center of Mahachkala on 26 September. It must be noted that, “Chernovik” published some tendentious articles against Azerbaijan too.
