Strong heat to continue till July 29 in republic

According to the information given to APA from the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, thunder will strike and it will heavily rain in some territories during this period. West, north-westerly wind will reach 15-20, in some territories 25 meters in a second.

The temperature will reduce 4-6 degrees. Short-term floods are expected to occur in some mountainous rivers. The temperature of the weather will be 23-27 degrees at night and 31-35 degrees in the afternoon in Baku and Apsheron peninsula. North-westerly wind will blow 7-12 meters in a second, sometimes will reach 14-16 meters in a second.

The speed of north-westerly will be 9-12 meters in a second, sometimes higher than 16 meters in a second on July 28. The speed of wind will reach 20-25 meters per second in some places of the peninsula on the second half of the day. The temperature will be 21-26 degrees at night and 28-32 degrees in the afternoon. Wind will weaken to 8-10 meters in a second on July 29. The temperature of the weather will be 29-32 degrees in the afternoon and 21-26 degrees at night.
