Iranian oil ministry’s official escapes assassination

The Iranian oil ministry's official escapes an assassination attempt. Armed men attacked on one of Iran's oil industry managers in a southern province, Pananews reported.

His general health state is stable, but he is being kept in hospital for recovery. The agency did not report the attacked oil official's name.

Earlier, head of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in central region Siyavash Enteghami was attacked by two gunmen last month.

Attackers have not yet been identified.
