The Georgian government has ratified a financing agreement worth $40 million for the Third Development Policy Operation (DPO-3) to support reforms.
The agreement was signed by Georgian Finance Minister Dimitri Gvindadze and World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Asad Alam on Sept. 5.
This loan is the third and last within three operations providing financial support for the key objectives of the Government's policy reform agenda.
About $175 million was allocated after the August 2008 conflict and the global economic downturn.
