President: Turkic-speaking countries to further develop coop

Cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries is bearing fruit, Turkish President Abdullah Gul stated today at a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic countries in the CIS, the TRT Haber TV channel reported.

"We will continue our successful partnership," he underscored.

"During each meeting with my colleagues from the Turkic-speaking countries, we discuss the development of our relationship and every time we come to an agreement," Gul said.

During the independence, the Turkic-speaking countries have passed a long way of development and made great progress in economy and politics, he said.
