Turkish scientists succeeded in obtaining hydrogen gas from hydrogen-sulfide water found at the base of the Black Sea thanks to a system they developed.
Conducting research on hydrogen energy, Dr. Mukerrem Sahin and his team of Turkish scientists were able to obtain hydrogen gas through a catalyzer system that processed hydrogen-sulfide water and turned it into hydrogen gas.
According to the scientists, the Black Sea can generate hydrogen gas that could be used for the generation of electricity for 100 years. Dr. Sahin and his team had been working on the Black Sea for the past five years.
