Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia has announced an international tender on the purchase of a gas-distributing station and its installation. Corporation invites all interested businesses and individuals to participate in the tender.
Construction of a gas-distributing station is scheduled for a 24-kilometer gas pipeline Poti-Senaki in western Georgia. With this facility, gas will be supplied to the industrial zone of Poti, the local population and other consumers of gas from North-South pipeline.
Those wishing to participate in the tender should submit a detailed description of the technical and economic schemes of gas-distributing station and a bank guarantee of one percent of the proposed contract price. To provide documentation on the proposals, it will be necessary to pay a fee of 500 lari (about $300).
The contractor must necessarily mount a storage battery, which should provide electricity supply during the day.
The proposals submitted will be opened in the Corporation at 18:00 on Sept. 12, 2011. Funding for the tender is $420,000.
