Armenian President makes another territorial claim against Turkey

26 July 2011 [13:08] - TODAY.AZ
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan made another aggressive claim, APA reports quoting the Hurriyyet newspaper. Serzh Sargsyan stated that they do not intend to release the occupied Azerbaijani territories and moreover entrusted the future generations with a task to seize the territory of Agri Dagh in Turkey.

Answering the question “Will we be able to get back our western territories together with Agri Dagh?” of one of the pupils participating in the Armenian language and literature competition Serzh Sargsyan said:

“This is the task of your generation. My generation coped with its task. In the 90s, we got back Artsakh, a part of our motherland, from the enemy. Every generation has its task. It depends on your unity whether you will cope or not with this task in the future as we did. To rise like Phoenix from its ashes is the success of the Armenian nation. But I must say that the confidence of the countries is not measured by square meters. If Armenia becomes a modern, safe, economically successful country, its confidence will be high,” he said.
