Turkish President: Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be solved on basis of agreed principles

Turkey favors resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on agreed principles, Turkish President Abdullah Gul told journalists.

He pointed out all countries and international organizations must step up their efforts. According to him, resolution of the conflict based on international law principles is important. Gul underlined there must be friendly ties among countries of the region. Lands must be freed and refugees must return home in order to establish such relations, he added.
