150000 of those who left Armenia in 2002-2007 didn’t return back, said head of Armenia’s State Migration Agency Gagik Yeganyan, APA reports quoting “Azg” newspaper.

Yeganyan said that the report of the National Migration Agency would be prepared and presented to the Armenian government in August, and added that the migration issue was one of the problems which worried the population.

“We have explained two reasons of migration to the president: “the unemployment nonexistence of necessary living standards”.

The agency’s head said that the program for prevention of mass migration of Armenians from the country was elaborated last year. This program contains the strengthening of border guard, management of irregular migration, return of Armenians fro abroad and etc.
