09 June 2011 [13:40] - TODAY.AZ
Supporting world independent and revolutionary states was one of Iran’s strategic and key policies, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Wednesday evening, IRNA reported.

He made the remarks in an address to a meeting to review avenues to bolster Iran’s bilateral relations with Venezuela, Ecuador and Belarus.

The President underlined the need for making a durable political and economic cooperation with anti-arrogant and independent countries.

He assigned Iran’s Foreign Ministry to "seriously follow up" the process of boosting bilateral relations with the three countries.

At the end of the meeting, Ahmadinejad made "firm orders for materialization of previously-made agreements" between Iran and each of the three friendly states.

A number of ministers including minister of foreign affairs, energy, information, housing and economic and financial affairs were present in the meeting.
