Leaders of the National Assembly of Georgia took half of government tribune in the Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi in front of the Parliament of Georgia. Opposition rally continues in that place, said the leader of the National Assembly Nino Burjanadze.

A tribune has been assembled in front of the parliament for the government members and guests. A military parade is planned to be conducted May 26 at 11:00 in Rustaveli Avenue, which will be attended by President Mikhail Saaakashvili.

According to the chairperson of the National Assembly Nona Gaprindashvili, the National Assembly intends to break the conduct of the military parade in honor of Georgia's independence on May 26. "We will do our best so that tomorrow, Saakashvili could not take the military parade, we will not allow it," she said.

Gaprindashvili urged all opposition political parties to put aside all divisions and come together with the National Assembly. She was supported by the leader of the Democratic Movement Nino Burjanadze, who also urged the opposition to join people.

Burjanadze told several hundred supporters that a live broadcast of the second channel of the Public television was terminated, also the action is not covered by live ether of the Maestro television.

"I urge all participants to send sms to their relatives and convene the people here. It is not clear what the television does, why it stopped broadcasting," said Burjanadze.
The National Assembly has the right to hold actions until 12 pm today.

Georgian radical opposition is holding rallies demanding President Mikheil Saakashvili’s resignation for four days already. Saakashvili's ex-associate, former defense minister Irakli Okruashvili, who is hiding from the Georgian justice abroad for several years, promised to come and help the Georgian opposition, but later he said he postponed his visit.

One of the leaders of the opposition, leader of the People's Assembly of Georgia Nino Burjanadze stated that she will not give up holding protests unless the current president of the republic resigns.
