Batumi to host international conference of Black Sea countries

The conference "Black Sea Region: Common Borders, Common Decisions" will be held at the Sheraton hotel in Batumi on April 5-6, the State Minister on Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures reoprted.

The organizers of the international forum are the Adjaran government and the Assembly of European Regions.

The goal of the conference is to share experiences and perspectives within the framework of frontier cooperation of the Black Sea Basin, as well as to develop new cooperation projects.

The conference will bring together representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations from the Black Sea countries, as well as international organizations.

Levan Varshalomidze, head of government of the autonomous republic, will be giving the opening remarks.
