80-year old arrested in Turkey for evading military service

The Turkish police have detained an 80-year-old deserter, Milliyet daily reported. Ali Celickeri (born: 1931) was arrested in a nursery home in Antalia. When getting into a police car, the 80-year-old, who moved with a walking cane, said he had paid his duty to his homeland back in 1951.
