
The Turkish President said his country attaches great importance to the peaceful settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"We all know the facts of the last time, when the protracted conflicts have become a source of new conflicts. Therefore, Turkey attaches great importance to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," said Abdullah Gul in his speech at the UN General Assembly.
Discussing the topic of security, the Turkish President, appealing to the international community, proposed to declare the Middle East a nuclear weapons-free zone.
