Lebanese Armed Forces Commander in Turkey for meeting

Chief of Turkish General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug met Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwaji in Ankara on Wednesday.

Gen. Basbug welcomed Gen. Kahwaji with full military honors at General Staff HQ.

The meeting was closed to press.

It was the first ever visit by a Lebanese armed forces commander to the chief of Turkish general staff, officials said.
