07 April 2010 [15:30] - TODAY.AZ
President Mikhail Saakashvili has put forward a new initiative regarding education at the governmental session on April 6.

According to the initiative, English language teachers, having arrived from English-language countries, will work in each Georgian school.

"All should study English in Georgia", Saakashvili said.

According to the President’s decision, English will be taught at schools from the first instead of the fifth grade.

Besides, all first graders throughout Georgia will be given computers, specially made for pupils.

The whole year’s program will be loaded in the computer.
