26 February 2010 [19:47] - TODAY.AZ
An Iranian lawmaker said here Friday that the IAEA Chief Yukiya Amano had released his first Iran report under pressure of the US and the West.
Talking to Muneo Suzuki, the Head of the Foreign Policy Commission of Japan’s House of Representatives, here on Friday, Boroujerdi said the Islamic Republic of Iran believes the US and the Western states have piled up pressures on the new IAEA Chief in Iran’s case and he should be able to resist such pressures.

He said Amano should be helped to bear the heavy responsibility amidst the political pressures.

He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers Japan’s model of nuclear activities, involving uranium enrichment under the IAEA supervision, as a successful model.

He invited Japanese private and public enterprises to invest in the lucrative ventures of nuclear power plants’ establishment, asking his Japanese counterpart to facilitate presence of the Japanese companies in Iran.
