24 February 2010 [11:06] - TODAY.AZ
Georgian parliament Speaker Davit Bakradze and Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcast Gia Chanturia have signed the memorandum regarding reforming the GPB Channel Two into a political channel.
Before the ceremony Gia Chanturia, Davit Bakradze and NDI director Luis Navaro held a press conference, where they all assessed as a historic one.

Bakradze expressed his hope that the political Channel Two will be successful in fulfilling its duties and will provide full report about opposition's activities.

Parliament speaker thanked the NDI director for mediation in this project.

Thirteen political parties signed the memorandum yesterday. The party led by ex-speaker Nino Burjanadze refused to sign the document.
