The Government of the Russian Federation approved a draft agreement on air services with Georgia's breakaway Abkhazia.
The decree was signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
The draft was prepared by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and agreed with Russian Foreign Ministry and other relevant departments in cooperation with the Abkhazian puppet regime.
The Government has instructed Ministry of Transport to finalize the document with the Abkhaz side and sign an agreement with Abkhazia on behalf of Russia.
The Ministry was granted right to make not very important changes to the agreement.
Tbilisi sees this decision as a violation of international law.
Earlier, and more than once, it was reported that in case of resumption of air service, Tbilisi would turn to ICAO for sanctions against Russia.
