11 February 2010 [17:08] - TODAY.AZ
Georgian nationals deported from Poland arrived in Tbilisi by a special flight Warsaw-Tbilisi late last night.
Some of the thirteen deportees are wanted by police for various crimes and others, are the emigrants whom the Poland's authorities have refused political asylum.

It is the fourth deportation of Georgians during the past two months.

Poland's government reinforced control of emigration from foreign countries, after the train abduction scandal.

The incident occurred in December; about two hundred illegal residents from Russia and Georgia tried to arrive in Strasbourg by a train without the tickets, where they wanted to ask for asylum after they failed to get it in Poland.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry reports, 4,000 Georgian citizens in total are also awaiting deportation from Poland.

They will be deported gradually.
