Pentagon ordered $1.2 billion worth of helicopters for five countries

The US Department of Defense has signed a contract worth more than $1.2 billion for the production of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, Azernews reports.

The aircraft will be transferred to Australia, Brazil, Greece, Sweden and Thailand.

The contract was signed with the manufacturer of this helicopter model, Sikorsky Aircraft, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation. The estimated deadline is December 31, 2027.
