Vitaly Dragunov has been appointed First Deputy Director General of Uzatom, Agency for the Development of Atomic Energy under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reported referring to the Telegram channel of the Justice Ministry.
Prior to this appointment, he worked as the general director of the regional center of Russia's state corporation Rosatom for Central Asia.
Uzatom was created by the July 19 decree of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov was appointed the Director General of Uzatom.
