Zarif, Kerry meet in New York

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his American counterpart John Kerry met in New York on Tuesday, IRNA reported.

The meeting between Zarif and Kerry took place behind the closed doors.

The Iranian and US top diplomats were supposed to discuss the latest developments concerning the implementation of nuclear agreement and Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The US officials said that the way for resolving the Syrian crisis and Iran's assistance to this end were also among the topic of discussion between Kerry and Zarif.
