The Constitutional amendments, which the Armenian government plans to adopt in the nearest future, cause sharp negative reaction and a lot of protests in the country.

The Armenian authorities remain unpopular among the people, irritating the nation by every of their decision.

The Armenian National Assembly approved the constitutional reforms on October 5 without any apparent reasons and social requirements after several months of intense debates and political protests against it.

The latest rally against the amendments was held on October 31. Despite multiplicity of such protest actions, the authorities give no reaction besides arrests and brutality.

The government uses every means in an effort to prevent and to scare people, in particular prosecuting peaceful protesters.

The government of this small post Soviet country suppresses any acts of free speech. They brought an action against protesters, accusing them repeatedly in the acts of hooliganism. Who knows what would have happened if the U.S. embassy does not request the Armenian government information about this criminal case. Immediately after American intervention the case was put an end, but that portrayed the whole world the tyranny which is now taking place in Armenia.

A member of the public organization "No robbery!", Maxim Sargsyan told press that in case if any international organization requested information for this criminal case, the Armenian government would do the same thing because all the charges were fabricated from the very beginning.

"Everyone saw that the citizens realized their right of peaceful assembly, and no one committed acts of hooliganism," he said.

Sargsyan also noted that the re-raising of this case was intended to intimidate the citizens, and to create an atmosphere of tension.

Next rally against constitutional reforms will be held at Freedom Square in Yerevan on November 20 at 17.00.

However, chances of the protesters to achieve success seem to be equal to zero because the government has showed many cases of indifference to people’s opinion. Levon Zarubyan, the head of the parliamentary faction of "Armenian National Congress" said that there is a system in Armenia that provides the authorities to win any election in any referendum.

Armenian people will hardly receive any help from the "outside", because international organizations refuse to face and fight against injustice and human rights violation taking place here. For unknown reasons all the crimes committed by the Armenian government remain invisible for them.

Who is to blame in this situation: criminal Armenian government or people who are not willing to fight enough to achieve their goal?
