New Georgian president swore in

Georgian president Giorgi Margvelashvili took the oath during the inauguration in Tbilisi.

"I am as the president of Georgia promise to exercise the Constitution of Georgia and to do everything in order to achieve the unity and development of my country, " he said in the oath.

After taking the oath the anthem of Georgia was performed.

Margvelashvili received the military parade, assuming also the obligations of the commander in chief.

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, delegations from 53 countries are participating at the inauguration.
