Ahmadinejad's speech cancels after his name lacks in list

The speech of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the ceremony dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the death of the leader of the 1979 Iranian Revolution Imam Khomeini was canceled, 'Iran' news website reported Tuesday.

According to the report, the list of persons who will speak at the ceremony on June 4 does not include the name of the President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

It is also noted that no comments has been made on this issue.

It is noted that this is the first time that the President's speech at a ceremony dedicated to the anniversary of the death of the Revolution leader Khomeini is canceled. During the years of their presidential terms, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Mohammad Khatami and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at the annual commemoration ceremony.

According to the Iranian media, Imam Khomeini's grandson Hassan Khomeini welcomed the guests and made a speech at today's commemoration ceremony. Then a speech was made by the supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
