Turkey stops int'l flights canceled due to bad weather

A number of domestic flights has been cancelled in Turkey due to adverse weather conditions, Sabah online newspaper wrote on Wednesday.

In particular, Istanbul-Sivas and Sivas-Istanbul flights have been canceled.

According to the newspaper, due to heavy snowfall in Sivas province roads were blocked to 497 villages. Snow plows are sent to clean the roads.

Frosty weather conditions have remained in Turkey since last week. Forecasters predict continued heavy snowfall in many provinces this week.
