Iranian and Armenian presidents meet

Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad began his official visit to Armenia today, IRNA reported.
 Ahmadinejad met with Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan. Presidents discussed such topics as regional questions and international issues. The meeting took place in the Armenian president's residency.

Iranian President arrived in Armenia on Dec. 23, according to Armenian ambassador to Tehran Grigor Arakelyan. Ahmadinejad's official visit to Armenia is scheduled for one day, during which, Islamic Republic's president will also meet with Armenia's prime minister and Armenian parliament's speaker. The sides also discussed road construction, including car and railroad transport, and the transit of oil products from Iran to Armenia.
