Large symbolic banner was displayed during public gathering in Yerevan

On the anniversary of the events referred to as the “Armenian genocide,” a traditional torchlight procession took place in Yerevan, bringing together various opposition groups. During the march, some participants burned a Turkish flag and displayed a large banner associated with Karabakh separatist movements.

The event, as in previous years, reflected strong emotions and political tensions surrounding historical memory and regional issues, though some of the actions were seen by observers as provocative.
