Turkish delegation arrives in Tbilisi

A delegation of the Turkish parliament arrived in Tbilisi this morning on a four-day visit. As the Turkish parliamentarians said at the airport, during the visit they are scheduled to meet with the leadership of the parliament, as well as with representatives of Georgian executive authorities.

They said the main topic of the negotiations is further boosting of relations between two countries. They stressed that the parliamentary relations lag behind against the background of good relations of the Turkish and Georgian leaders.

During the visit the Turkish parliamentarians will hold meetings in Georgian parliamentary committees During the visit a number of cultural events will be held. Turkish MPs will visit Batumi as well.
