France approves two points of “Armenian genocide” bill - UPDATE

French Senate adopted two points of a bill on the so-called "Armenian genocide", Turkish TRT TV channel reported. The French Parliament approved a bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide, and rendered it punishable with a year in jail and a fine of 45,000 euros ($58,000).
