Azerbaijan-UK ties mulled

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with a British Foreign minister William Hague as part of the 18th meeting of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.

The sides exchanged views on prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain. The meeting also focused on prospects of cooperation between the two countries in economic and energy sectors, as well as various international organizations and UN Security Council.  The British Foreign Minister welcomed signing of a gas deal between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
