Azerbaijan to chair GUAM in 2012

Foreign ministers of the GUAM countries met in Vilnius on the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, where it was decided to transfer the organization's chairmanship from Moldova to Azerbaijan in 2012.

The meeting also assessed Moldova's activity as the organization's president in 2011 and approved the organization's budget for 2012. GUAM foreign ministers also discussed issues of cooperation with other international organizations.
