Azerbaijani diplomat takes office in China

Azerbaijani ambassador to China Latif Gandilov handed over his credentials to Chinese President Hu Jintao, Xinhua agency reported. President Hu Jintao received credentials presented by ambassadors from six foreign countries on Monday, the agency reported.

Ambassadors of Cuba, Djibouti, Georgia, Liberia and Angola also presented their credentials. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev appointed Latif Gandilov as Azerbaijan's ambassador to China on Aug.16, 2011. Previously, Gandilov served as an ambassador to Kazakhstan.
