NATO supports defence reforms in Azerbaijan

NATO stands ready to support Azerbaijan's defence reforms, NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Defence Policy and Planning Hüseyin Diriöz said during the NISA-organized conference on the topic of "Celebrating 20th anniversary of Independence: Evaluation of Azerbaijan's foreign policy" in Baku on Nov. 25.

He said Azerbaijan is indeed contributing to combating global concerns such as terrorism. As a key player in the energy sector, Azerbaijan is urgent, is a champion for cooperation in the energy security, Diriöz stated.
