Azerbaijan to attend PACE meeting in Edinburgh

The Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by chairman of Parliament`s committee for international relations and inter-parliamentary ties Samad Seyidov will attend meeting of the PACE Standing Committee in Edinburgh on Nov.25.

The committee will discuss the Assembly’s observation of recent elections in Tunisia, Bulgaria and the Kyrgyz Republic, and is due to debate and vote on a series of reports on topics including: combating all forms of discrimination based on religion; the challenges faced by small national economies; protection orders for victims of domestic violence; psychological violence; armed conflicts and the environment. Azerbaijani MPs Rafael Huseynov and Sahiba Gafarova will make reports in the meeting.
