Azerbaijani President receives co-chair of Azerbaijan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission - UPDATE - PHOTO

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received today Yoichi Kobayashi, co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission and executive vice president of Itochu Corporation.

Recalling his previous visit to Azerbaijan, Kobayashi said he saw great changes in Baku. The sides expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Japan. They exchanged views on expansion of relations in various spheres.

The successful activity of Azerbaijan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission was praised at the meeting. They also stressed the importance of activity of Japanese companies in energy sector of Azerbaijan and infrastructure projects being carried out in the country. They also noted there was good potential for development of cooperation in non-oil sector.
